Oh Mr Postman

Today was ever so chilly, but naturally I still found it appropriate to wear a cotton dress. I say cotton dress when really I mean a long skirt I thrifted. I just hitched it up and tied a belt round the middle. It is covered in autumnal leaves, I felt the part. This however hasn't helped my nasty head cold.

When walking to my studio I saw an old motorbike noisily bluster past- it only had a giant pumpkin in it's side car! I think this easily made my day. I think in all the excitement of changing leaves I actually forgot about Halloween. My costume ideas are usually incredibly
half-arsed considering how much I love craft. Last year I tied a sheet around my body and made a wreath out of ivy. I'm a terrible Roman. I'm potentially thinking New Young Farmers..I see tweed and posh neckerchiefs. I don't know.

In other more exciting news, I received a couple more blessed packages from Mr Postman.
My ebay habits are fast spiralling out of control.

I got this little cutie, a kitsch little oil painting:

Package number two contained the biggest camera I have ever held.
The beast that is a wide angle Fuji Instax 100.
Little did the previous owner know there were still exposures left in the camera.
Absolute bonus treats!

I am so pleased with my post.
Now I'm off to get my hair colour changed.
Reddish Autumn tones? I think so.
